    5 Man Scramble

so tommorow we have a 5 man scramble and we have 1 guy (my best friend & scratch player) from the blues ,1 from the whites, me and this other d-bagger from the reds and 1 from the yellows...were more than likely going to dominate because my handicap says im worse then i am and ill be able to drive 2 or 3 greens....BUT does anyone have any good/successsful strategies?

Make sure you have one or two balls in good position before you try to do something stupid.

Every scramble always comes down to one of 2 things. Are you making the putts? and is half the field cheating?

You'll be on the green in 2 on every par 4. But will you make that birdie putt? Same with 3s and 5's You'll be shooting at birdies and eagles all day.

We consistently win scrambles. I always play with the same 3 guys, all honest 18-25 hdcps...but they're old guys and they can putt. The worst we've ever shot in 6 years is -12 and the best is -19. About 3 years ago I played with 3 other guys who were under 3 HDCPS. We shot -2. Why? We lipped everything out all day. As was said before...scrambles are all about lying about your handicap and making putts...or at least one of the two.
