Do you carry a 3-Wood? How often do you use it and when. What do you use in it's place?

hi there,
i didnot carry 3 wood but i carry 4+ wood

. i carry 9 wood as well, found #9 is way ez to hit than #4+. i use my #4 off the tee and fair way(if only the ball in fairway and need like about 200 plus yd) but most of the time i will use 7 iron to play safe.
i just get a 9 wood hope it can help.

how about you ? do you carry it and when did you used it?

I carry a three wood.
I use it on anything 220+

No, no 3-wood for me. When I used it, it was mainly off the tee on shorter/tighter par 4's. Also on bad days when my swing leaves me and I can't handle my driver.

My main problem with it was a modern 3 wood (15 degrees) has no chance of landing AND stopping on a green. I don't like my approach shots to be short and roll into the green. INCONCEIVABLE! Actually, I can't do it consistently.

In place of it, I wold say my 2-iron or 19 degree 5 wood...
