I had left the forum a while ago becuase there was nothing different or interesting about it, nothing that distinguished it from the hundreds of others.

I came back and found so much great drama and entertainment (beth page v everyone, Nova v Lyle, etc). Now what. NOTHIN' that's what.

If i want golf infromation I will go to a golf forum that has people who actually know something about golf (4gea, freegolf, wishon forum, PCS forum).

WHat I want is more sh*t talking...that was what was best about this site..

P.S. I've read a lot of your posts and can't quite figure out what you contribute, becuase it's pretty clear your an angry person who doesn't know a lot about golf. It was the 70's... I did okay... and now after life, children (and grandchildren) many many long hours in many far away countries... my game sucks. What's your point?

Become? When was it good? The only thing of any possible merit was a bunch of ner do wells that tried to tell everyone that blades are the way to really learn golf (at least they had an opinion). Ironman went wrong listening to those wankers, and now has a nice set of cavity back clubs. A bunch of unmoderated flames with no point and little content. Perhaps it's better on the non golf discussion side, but I doubt it.

A recurring problem with this board is that many people who are interested in talking about golf without getting into flame wars become weary of the theatrics and nonsense that floats around here, and move on to other boards. The people who like to flame stay, but many of them have no real interest in discussing golf related subjects, except as a vehicle to flame others. When there is a crackdown on the flaming, people stand around awkwardly, with nothing to say. Then someone comes on the board with the inevitable, "Wow, this board is dull. We need the good old days." Things loosen up, the flaming returns, and the cycle repeats itself, and repeats itself, and repeats itself...........
