Are you currently using a pull cart or a push cart? There is a big difference in the fatigue factor, in my experience. It is far easier to push than to pull. I've had the Sun Mountain Speed Cart for several years. With proper tire pressure, there is almost no rolling resistance on level ground, you can use the hand brake to slow it down going downhill, and going uphill is the only time you even feel the weight of the bag/cart. It is a small fraction of the price of a motorized cart, and an option you might consider before going all the way to an electric unit.
    Seldom right, never in doubt......

Yes i have a bag boy right now, but the hills here are quite severe. I usually play 36 on the days i get to go. So i really need something less taxing.

After I tell you guys this you will probably mock me, but its not because im old or fat. Im only 26 and about 150 lbs at 5'10".

and the pace of play is usually pretty quick...no more than 3 hours a round. so im having to almost sprint to the ball, I usually find that by the 6th or 7th hole. I notice my legs are getting tired and my breathing has gotten deeper..

.I'm hoping that if all i have to do is carry my own weight with no resistance up the hills I will be fine for the 36. Carts are getting expensive for the back 18's.

Yeah; if you're playing 36 holes on a hilly course, I can certainly understand your wish for a power cart. I'm usually "done" by the end of 18 on my moderately hilly course, with my push cart.

Just go down to your local Home Depot and rent a Mexican to carry your bag. That seems right up your alley.

    Yes, very cheap.
Perhaps you've met Tucan. He's also Puerto Rican, but much less angry. His ethnicity has also been questioned, so you've got that in common too. Admit it, you shop at the gap and root for the Celtics.

i know tucan he's got a huge bill. No i do not shop at the gap...im more of an aeropostale, bananna republic kind of guy. Im not a basketball guy so i dont root for the celtics...im more of a baseball guy and i usually follow the yankees.....

now this thread is about walk behind powered carts, not trivial follow around douche bags so i dont see how any of this is relevant...start your own thread and quit making gay a.ss comments in mine.

....why would you go out of your way to ruin a serious thread that was meant for advice...don't you have any kind of life? i mean really you have the internet, why not look at gay porn instead of being gay in here. Do me a personal favor if you will....just leave this alone. in fact you've probably already ruined my chances of getting any real feedback on these carts, because those who might consider responding are going to read the reta.rded sh.it we have posted back and forth and just ignore it.

i mean i enjoy shi.t talking as much as the next guy but not in a thread like this...perhaps in one titled Americans suck at golf...but walk behind powered carts, grow up!

i ever so eagerly await your brilliant retort.....
....remember you're an adult now, it wont kill you to act like one

    OK, back on topic.
Rent a cart or hire a Mexican. Either way, no one gives a crap.
Better yet, get in shape so you don't tire on your golf marathons.

in an earlier post i said that renting a cart every time gets expensive....

    i run a mile and a half in 10:51

i do 50 pushups in a minute and 64 situps...

i go to the gym 3 times a week for both strength and cardio training.....

so are you in better shape than I. do you think you could walk 36 at a brisk pace through extremely hilly terrain.

why would i hire a mexican when i can save my money and buy a walk behind cart....that thing will pay for itself in the the long run dont you think...just to give you an idea of my weekends and need for the cart....saturday two consecutive rounds....sunday two consecutive rounds....and monday 3 consecutive rounds....can you walk all that....can you shoot 80-85 every single time when pushing a cart up hills....if not shut up and piss off........the topic isn't can you talk s.hit to me because i cant walk 7 rounds of golf up hill over three days comfortably is it? no i didn't think so.

Ever met someone that you wish would get hit by a train, just because they are that annoying.................

You are quickly becoming my favorite poster.
When I plug your feats of strength into my special internet bragging calculator, they are really not impressive.
Let's here about how much money you make next. I'm also betting you're dating a supermodel.
Oh well, back on topic. How can you possibly believe that a Mexican would NOT pay for itself in the long run??!!

It's not bragging if you can do it....actually im married to a japanese women, not a super model but i think she's hot.....not that much money actually...i attend college full time.....how do i justify that the mexican wont pay for themself ( itself denotes an inanimate object, and most certainly is not to be used when describing another human, but being the NON RACIST that you are I'm sure you are fully aware of this and it was merely a freudian slip), simple they would need some kind of health and dental plan for their families which we all know to be quite large, thereby requiring even extra monies not already allocated up front. Any more questions?

This is retarded thread with an obvious dubious premises.

You state that carts become expensive on 2nd 18? Uhhhhhhhhh the carts are free for the second round in all courses. So you can't spare $15 for 36 rounds? Go get a job.

So i conclude that you are probably looking for some attention.

WRONG!!! green fees are free for the second but cart fees most definitely are not at any course...some courses require more money for the second green fees but not many.

and again i never said they become expensive on the second 18.. i said carts are getting expensive for the back 18. which incenuates that I am renting the cart for the back 18 because i am tired of walking....

your not the brightest kid in your family are you....

by the way its only 13 at my course for the cart per 18 holes

    so lets do some math

    13 * 3 = 39 dollars right per week...whats that per month

    39 * 4 = 156 dollars per month right...now whats that per year

    156 * 12 = 1872 dollars per year right...

so genius...what's more economical renting the cart every time i don't want to push a cart over hills or buying a motorized cart that I just walk behind....

it's complicated and you need things spelled out so here you go..

Cart rental yearly = $1,872.00 (if the rate does not increase)
Powakaddy = $800.00 dollars one time (roughly)

    - but Omen you haven't considered the cost of electricity required to recharge the batteries...

    by god you're right....

i wonder if the cost of electricity is enough to offset the cost of cart rentals yearly????

please help what the f.ucking idiot.

    any more questions?

struggled in english class huh...noticeing how you cant seem to comprehend simple sentences.

not in america....but dont believe me call any course in charleston, sc, baltimore, md, houston, tx, albuqurque, nm, and ask them.....every single course i have ever played your green fees are paid for the day, but you must rerent the carts.

its 13 dollars every time i ride, even if it was only one time per 18, which its not, its still 13 three times a week 4 times a month 12 times a year...which is more expensive than the powakaddy...

how are you guys this stupid...who ties your shoes????

Ok so you play 3 times a week twice a day? so 6 rounds a week for 52 weeks?

I have heard it all, if you can afford to pay all that green fee and have all that time to play golf, you should be able to fork over $13 a day for a cart.

    Go find a life.

i only work 4 days a week....every weekend is a three day for me.....

one word MEMBERSHIP at a military installation....cheap for me only $270.00 annually....nice being associated with the D.O.D. (department of defense)

    you really are stupid.

also with it being on a military installation cuts down on number of players there...civilians are allowed but theres a bitter long process before admittance on to the installation...me i just show my i.d......so thats how i roll....all golf all the time...how do you think i got my handicap down after only 2.5 years of play.

You do not have to write an essay when responding to questions. Just simple rebuttal or acceptance of your idiocity will suffice.

Btw, I dont know or do not give a **** about your handicap.

    Go find a job.

why would i need to go find a job if i am working 4 days a week, and going to school?

actually it's $22.02, but its not as great as it sounds, if it does sound great, because of the cost of living here.....even your mother would make $8.00 doing the same dirty filthy whore thing she did when you were conceived.....you should have been swallowed....

so my grammer wasn't a typo....but your dubmass was???

interesting how are the special education classes going?

    hahahahahah

dubmass, dubmass, dubmass.....hahahahah i can spell grammar dubmass....hahahahah

by the way IDIOCITY is not a word....you never let me down....you are so fu.cking stupid it's amusing.

obviously you have a degree....by the way i have one its a bachelor of science with an occupational specialization in electronics......that's how i knew idiocity wasn't a word.....

this time you can't claim typo...because the word i believe you were looking for is idiocy....so where did the "it" come from??? STUPIDITY perhaps.

do yourself a favor and don't mess with someone who is smarter than you and their only flaw is one typo....its like going all in with 2, 7 offsuit and the other guy has a royal flush...it's never going to win.

Enough already. This isn't entertaining anymore.
HappyW@* and Omen, listen up. Making fun of someone's grammar is a sure-fire way to admit that you have lost a war of wits. It's almost as weak as making fun of someone's mother.
This advice is free, and hopefully you will both take it.

    you know what you're right.........STFU

this isn't funny anymore....neither is your constient barrage of useless posts.

who died and made you king...

I am surely going to lose sleep over the fact that a few people at golf review do not approve of my posts....

oh god how will i ever survive.

one thing about free advice you always get what you paid for.....

remember the old saying you shouldn't give advice unless asked????? guess not

so i will try to be a better adult with this advice... i feel as though i have grown as a person, inside, you know.

this is definelty going to change my life....

...just ask your self one question....why'd we get this guy started?

didn't know who you were fu.cking with i guess... i got some free time during the week and nothing better to do than mess with a.ssholes. I can go into every one of them and just post some filthy disgusting stuff, just for fun and if i get removed i will have to go through the trouble of setting up one more account....no big deal....i got time.

if you don't want me like this....you'd better stay off my nuts. understood

why....all you do is plug it in. and I would only have to do it friday night, saturday night, and sunday night. those are usually the only days i get to play because of my work schedule.

sometimes in the middle of summer when the days are long I may be able to squeeze a round in after work but not often.

is there something special that is required that i don't know about, like do i have to remove the batteries from the cart or something.....from what i can tell from the limited research i have done it should just plug in like a riding cart.
