Stiff shafts in older Ping Irons

    Hi everyone,

I have been looking at getting a used set of Ping Eye 2's or ISIs. I tried some out the other day at the local golf store, and they feel great, and for the price, you can't beat them.

However, the fitter said I should be using regular flex shafts. When I look on Ping's website, though, all the shafts used in Eye 2's and ISIs, except for JZ, are stiff and low launch. How did folks who normally use regular flex shafts use these irons? Did they all just suck it up and swing harder or did they re-shaft?

Do any of you know if Ping's older shafts (i.e., ZZ lite, KT, Z-Z65, etc) are stiffer or less stiff than eachother?

Is the only other option here to purchase a set of these irons and re-shaft?

    Thanks for your time.

The KT-M's defiantly play softer then the ZZ lights I have had two sets of Eye2's woods and the KT-M's were significantly easier to get airborne.
