Taylormade R7 460.
Thinking of changing my Nike Ignite 460 for the TM R7 460. My Ignite has is a 10.5* with the stock Fuji Ijnite shaft in it specs are as follows:
Torque 4.0
Weight 65G
Length 45.25
Flex Stiff.
If I get the TM it will be in the same loft with the Fuji RE AX 60 shaft, specs below:
Torque 3.5
Weight 65G
Length 45
Flex Stiff
So here's the question, what differences if any will I notice and all other things being equal (apart from the shaft specs) should I see any increase/reduction in distance if I change.
Thanks,
Noley.

Noley....
Having not hit the Nike Ignite I don't know how much difference a TM R7 460 will present. I do know a couple of things about the R7, however. It is long, it is forgiving, and the stock RE*AX shaft is not very good. I reshafted my R7 about a month after buying the club and hven't looked back. I use an Aldila NV 65 with a R flex. I'm not pushing the Aldila shaft, just making a point that the stock shaft is not good and you might want to use another shaft.
Driver: TM R7 460 w/Aldila NV65
Callaway X 3 and 5 woods
Callaway X 4 Hybrid
RAC LT 5-PW
RAC Gap, Sand, & Lob wedges
Odessey White Hot Mallet putter
Calloway HX Tour 56
Handicap 9.3

Thanks, I'll keep that in mind, might try Aldila NVS 65 or Graphalloy Pro Launch Blue 65

Get fitted, otherwise you are playing a very expensive guessing game.
