Should all of my Cleveland wedges be the exact same length?
I just reshafted a brand new club that I bought from my local Golfsmith store. They reshafted all of my clubs the weekend before. I bought a 60 degree loft a couple of days ago and want the same shaft and grips that all of my other clubs have. When I put the club in my bag later tonight, I noticed that the length was longer by 1/2 to 1 inch.
My questions are these:
1. Should all of my wegdes have the same length?
2. If not, then was is a good progression of length?
3. If this difference is normal, can anyone tell me if Cleveland are making their wedges (especially the 60 degree) longer than they did about 4 to 6 years ago?
I have 2 RTG 588 wedges (49 degree bent to 52 degress and a 56 degrees), the new RTG+ 588 wedge (60 degrees), and a my pitching wedge (Callaway X-12 at 46.5 degrees). From what I can tell, all of my Cleveland wedges should have a length of 35.25 inches. My Callaway pitching wedge would be .25 inches longer at 35.5 inches.
Thank you to anyone who has gone through this.
Enjoying the game all over again,

I thought wedges were supposed to be the same length. Maybe whoever reshafted them messed up ? I will check the lengths of my wedges today as I am going to get in a round!

both of mine are the same i dont know if they are supposed to be but mine are...

My Titleist Vokey 52,56,60 are all the same length. I would assume that Cleveland's should be the same as well.

yea i would def. get this reshafted... i think they should do it for free... unless your other wedge was purposfully shafted short...

Thank you so much for your words. I will talk to Golfsmith in the morning and see if can tell my why one of the shafts is .25 to .5 inchess longer than all of my 3 other wedges. My Callaway Pitching wedge and my 2 older RTG Cleveland wedges (52 & 56 degrees) were all the same length. This wedge was done as a 2nd redo after they put a stiff shaft on incorrectly at first. I guess they rushed it or just didn't realize what happened. That extra 1/2 inch is annoying though I could choke down on the club, but it means that I have to be careful.

I got all my wedges (pw, sw and lw) all adjusted to my adjusted pw length.
So all my wedges play a half inch over the standard pw length.
I feel sorry for Skeet boy's cat...

My wedges are all the same now. Thanks for the help! I think it will be easier for me to work with them, when I don't have to think about the clubs' differences. I am not experience enough to be at that level.
