    got a tourney coming up....

one at a place called oakmont green in hampstead, md

and one at compass pointe in pasadena, md

heres a link to the compass pointe site... no i dont know which two nines we will play.

    http://www.compasspointegolf.com/the...d=69&page=1178

course looks really nice and challenging... checked it out on mapquest and it looks a little tight... which is a good thing for me... i tend to find more fairways when the course leaves you no bail out room... i have got to do something about my putting, it's just not consistent enough... some days i burn all the edges and some days they are a few feet offline... no good....

what do you guys think about that golf course... looks really good doesn't it.. i like all of the downhill approach shots... golf is a much funner game with downhill approach shots, i think.

Good luck Omen. If you play the West course make sure you don't trip walking off the 2nd green -- that looks like arkansas water.

I agree about the downhill approach shots being more fun, but I'd take it a step further and say all down hill shots are. I really love tees that are elevated 80 feet or so above the fairway or green.

Good luck. Win one for GR!
I've got a match play round on Friday with a pretty serious playa. Of course, he's never had the pressure of playing with Horseballs (that didn't sound quite right).

I'm still of junior eligibility so I play in Tournaments put on by the CJGA (Canadian Junior Golf Association) and the MJT(Maple Leaf Junior Tour) they are well run and offer good qualifying spots for national and international events. I was invited to play in Whistler for the National Championship (pretty sweet) Yeah, there is pretty much a tournament every weekend. Saskatchewan Golf Association puts on some tournaments as well.

Omen, I don't what it's like in Baltimore or Charleston, but there are a couple of amateur tours in and around Cincinnati. The one thing you'll absolutely have to do is get a handicap registered through the USGA. I remember there was a minimum number of events you had to play in, but it wasn't overwhelming (maybe 5 out of 20).
Just do a little digging and you'll find something.

Here's another little tour I mess around on sometimes. There are a few @ssholes who play it, but all in all it's OK.

he's a sideshow attraction at most tour stops... you know he's that whole " come see the gorilla that can hit a golf ball thing": his job is to lighten the atmosphere and to help get small children involved with the game...

he's done more for golf than Tiger Woods.... you should want his autograpgh, unfortunately we only taught him how to swing a club, pen and paper are, well like math to a monkey...

Range balls are provided but I don't recommend hitting a lot of balls or taking practice swings. I had to leave after 36 last year, but one group got in something like 65 holes.
    I'll email you.

I'm planning on trying to earn a scholarship to a US college. If that ever happens there is nothing I would want more than to play some rounds with some fellow golf reviewers.

Your priorities are all jacked up. When you are in college there is nothing you want more than to get drunk every night and have no-strings-attached sex with as many co-eds as possible. At least these were my priorities and I turned out fine.

sorry fellas I've been reshafting my Knifes to Graffaloy X Blue with Gulbis-model Winn grips so needless to say I haven't had a lot of spare time lately. I was also working on repainting my 15-pack Wilson's with the Cally target logo.

I'll jump back into the fray shortly.
