    nickent

i finally decided on a hybrid and i went out and bought one...i need to put a steel shaft in it but its a Nickent 3dx ironwood (genex) i tried a bunch including the new 4dx but this one gave me the best numbers... right now it a 17* 2i with some sort of UST graphite shaft on it by the end of the week itll have a True Temper Dynamic Gold SLS300 it it... i love it... the only problem is one that i expected i hit it about 240 and the 4wiid about 250 so i will need to replace my 4wood with a 3wood ill probrably just get a Mizuno F50 or MP001 not much difference between the two... i hope to rotate the 4wood with my driving iron and the 3wood with my hybrid... anyway heres the pics they are the only ones i have right now...

    nice...

i would suggest trying out the cally x tour 3 woods as well as the f-50's... i have the mizzy 5 wood, but i like the x tour better... it's face is a little smaller and it's easier to work the ball. also the face is hotter and has a little more solid feel than the f-50... the mizzy just doesn't give me what i'm really looking for in the woods department. and i definitely think that as far as fw's go cally makes some of the best. there drivers and irons leave a lot to be desired but that x tour has been super impressive. just a thought

The r7 fairway woods are overpriced IMO, in fact, all of the taylormade clubs with the "TP" logo pasted on to them are overpriced. For what you get its really not worth the money especially when you know that they are going to come out with a new club next year. Try out just the regular r7, they are solid and are a better price. The v-steels have been their best club in the last few years IMO. anyways, let us know what you like...
