    Critters@!

This year in So Cal has been a bit dry..

This has caused the wrabbits, squirrels, and ground dwellers to come visit the salad buffett that is the fairways and greens.

I have also noticed the snakes, Hawks, and coyote's to be a lot more aggreeisve for there food source.

We had a coyote walk by us (30yards) with a dead squirrel for a mid morning snack.

Heard a bobcat strolled thru the course last week.

I am glad they dont litter on the course like the rest of the us.
(saw a half smoked cigar (still smouldering) on the side of the green the same day)

I'm also in So Cal and we've noticed the snakes and coyotes are getting alot closer to the golfers this summer. I warned a lady walking her small h'oerdog I'd seen a coyote cross where she was standing a short time prior. She laughed and said they don't bother her. I expected to see her later walking a leash and collar home.

Quite a few woodchucks on the courses around here, a few quail & I literally had 2 Sandhill Cranes which stood about 3' tall on 1 fairway. My ball landed maybe 20-30 ft from them & they didn't even flinch as I walked up & hit my 2nd shot.

We have had bears roaming the course all year. Our pro-shop has even started selling pepper spray.

Deer are nothing special around here...We had one last year that walked on 3 legs..woulden't put weigh on her back left leg. Poor bugger.

Rabbits are all over the place at my course. One day..2 of them were chaseing the **** out of each other..one hopped his ass over to me and a friend..I was sitting on a bench with my driver resting on the ground..I'm holding it by the grip..the bastard comes over ...snifs the clubhead and bolts away..I figure the SasQuatch scared the heck out of him.

We have 5 fox. Their not very active this year.

haven't come across a snake yet either.

We don't have anything as dangerous as bears and snakes, but something far worse. Ball thieving crows, hundreds of them.
