Found your ball sitting in a bunker footprint lately?
If you catch someone not raking a bunker, do you think breaking one of their arms is too harsh?
-
If you arent in a tournament, just fricken grab the rake and rake it. Leave the bunkers the way you would want to find them. Etiquette is such a simple thing isnt it?

People are *******s.
Get the **** over it, you're not playing for the US open. Take your quad and keep the pace of play up.

Probably not harsh enough. It's feasible they can still play with the other arm. To ensure they are too incapcitated to be on a golf course not raking bunkers you'd have to break both arms, just to be sure.
But if you want to stay a member (and out of jail) just lighten up a little and take the foot print as part of the challenge. Peter Thompson has actually stated on numerous occassions that bunkers shouldn't be raked, that they are supposed to be penal. Not sure if I agree with that but perfect lies in bunkers shouldn't be the norm either.

Thanks for the thoughtful comment. What are you drinking? I'd buy you one but you seem over your limit.

I actually played out of someones foot imprint in the sand Monday. The foot was huge and was pretty deep it seemed like they were stomping in the sand or something luckily I grabbed my 9 iron and chipped the shot onto the green with no trouble...Its irritating yes but really I dont have much trouble playing out from those preventable shots so its a non issue for me.

Nothing worse than your ball getting stuck in a deep foot print on a steep slope in a bunker. I don't mind foot prints as much in the flatter areas of the bunker but when the ball gets stuck in a three inch deep foot print where the ball would normally have rolled back down to the flat is a hole killer. Out is good and forget getting it close to the pin unless you have the golf gods grace shinning on you.
I personally would like to be paired with someone who neglects to rake a bunker. I would probably give them shat and then request that they rake every bunker on the rest of the course that has foot prints in them for there punishment.
