  1. Blades Vs. Cavity back.

I did a search and couldn't find any results.

What do you guys think is the better type of iron to play. I tend to agree with the statement that all good players use a blade iron. Cavity backs are for girly men who should take up bowling.

    Real golfers use a blade.

    What is your opinion?

Even if it is old 'no father', he has a point.

Look at how many cavity back, game improvement, massive offset POS irons you see on the LPGA tour. But you forgot to mention the other calling card of the golfing sissy. Regular shafts. Anything less than S300 is strictly for faggots. There is also one other easy way to spot choppers from a mile away on the course just by their equipment. They'll be the ones who keep their glove on while putting and use the press stud marker on the glove to mark the ball, carefully pressing it back onto the glove between putts (which is usually at least 3 per hole). At courses in Ausralia denim jeans are also popular with hackers.

In any case this froum needs a bit of a flaming to liven things up a bit.

I look forward to the responses.

I do not know a Joel Simms.

I agree hacker, regular shafts are for weak little girls from Ontario. Make that everyone that lives in Ontario.

I have to disagree on the glove thing though as I sometimes putt with my glove on. If it's a hot day and my hands are a little sweaty, I leave the glove on while I knock in my 20 footer for Birdie.

Muscle back irons are also a no-no hackers club. If it's not a full blade iron you're not playing the game the way it's suppose to be played.

I think Muscle back irons are a great stick.

Not quite a blade but you cant be a 30 capper like LyleGay and expect to have good resusts with these clubs.

Look at the Mizuno 32's. That's a sweet looking iron.

Real men just stare the ball down until it gets itself in the hold. Chuck Norris once played 18 holes of golf using a 12 inch strip of rebar and a sun dried tomato. He shot a 54.

I'm sorry, I'm not familiar with this game of which you speak.

What game do you have to try to get a ball in a hold,

    Sincerely,

Well pussies like kim jong ill or chuck norris hit cavity back because, well, they're pussies. They suck so bad they need their equipment to make up for their mistakes.

On the other hand, if your a real man, you hit blades. Im a real man who hits blades. Everyone should try to be like me, because im a real man.

I can honestly say that I am pretty confused. like WTF is going on. Everyone knows that everyone on this forum is a scratch golfer who play Blade irons. clearly nobody wants to admit that they play CB's because they will be made fun of, ie. Jules.

    1. This is NOT a "player's" forum; far from it
    2. Somebody is just trying to yank your chain by starting this absurd thread, but they are not very skilled at trolling
    3. Many PGA pros play cavity backs
    4. I am not afraid to admit that I play cavity backs; I play the Wishon 560 MC's; forged cavity backs with minimal offset; absolutely superb irons. They're the best I've ever played, and I've played numerous sets ranging from pure cavity backs to morph sets that are cavity backs in the longer irons and progress to blades in the short irons. I've demo'd pure blades, but have found that both cavity backs and blades feel great on well struck shots, but cavity backs are far more forgiving on less than well hit shots. Bad shots are bad shots, whatever club you use.
    5. If you want a real ego/testosterone board, go to Bombsquad. Everybody there hits their drivers 375 yards, and has plus handicaps (if you believe what people say with the anonymity of the internet to cover their lies)
    Seldom right, never in doubt......

Lol that is the dumbest statement ever. CB are not all for pussies. If you play a forged CB iron they are fantastic. Im not talking about the gay shovel CBs but there are some very nice forged CB irons that are very nice.

To the contrary, I think Joels done a pretty good job of starting a few flames, it has definitely added a little entertainment to the forum the last day or so.

Even his latest effort of trying to use this littlehuth character to 'innocently' insult Ping and Cally users is quite amusing. You've gotta give him 'A' for effort.

I agree. I play Wishon 560 MC's, which are sort of "player's cavity back" irons. Relatively thin sole with a great versatile sole grind, soft, solid forged feel, very predictable distances, quite forgiving, and minimal offset. Sure, they're cavity backs, but they are far from shovels. Some of the more simple minded people on this board can only see things in black and white, and can't appreciate subtle differences. Something is great, or it sucks; no middle ground. It does save time not having to think, though........

This comment does not compute with your sig. If you are indeed playing the best irons of all tim i.e. Mizuno grainflow forged, please amend your sig to remove those POS shovels you currently have listed. It might confuse some of the gay newbie hackers who read it.

P.S. If you really can't hit a 3 iron well then you should keep the shovels. You aren't worthy of owning Mizuno.
