Reg shaft driver, 3 hybrids (count em!), CB POS faggot shovel irons, 2 piece rock balls. Sweet? I don't think so. This is one of the gayest bags I've ever seen, and that's saying something considering the number of lame arse, faggot, sissy, limp wristed douche bag's on this forum.

You really need to go home, walk up to the mirror, and have a long hard look at yourself. To steal a line from Gunnery Sgt Hartman in Full Metal Jacket "You're the kind of person that would f#$k a person in the arse and not even have the god damn common courtesy to give him a reach around!"

Hey ping we should get the WITB photo edition going, your thoughts? Not individual clubs, just the clubs in the bag. One picture.

ps. The pictures should be of high quality or they shall be taken off.

I think all photo collections should include at least one of the poster on the course, especially if they are wearing some classy clothes i.e. cargo shorts. Standing over a putt can also add something to the shot, particularly if you own a flippy putting stroke.

what the hell, i'll spam now. I just got the 503.H in yesterday, so it's not in the pic. Douchebag on ebay shipped it parcel post, it got lost in Arizona, (go figure) and I got it 2.5 weeks later. I added a 4th pic just to aggravate Pingman.

    How I rate these clubs:
975J driver: Not forgiving in the least. 312cc head. Very workable. That's why I like it. Long when struck solidly, but you will lose distance on mishits. Picked it up for $39!

975F 3 wood: Without question, the most solid fairway I've ever hit. Workable both ways and scary long at 13.5*. I can put this one out there 250-260 on perfectly struck drives. S300 matches beautifully. Boring trajectory fights headwinds. A complete steal @ $30

503.H utility: perfect distance gap club off the tee. I got it for the short par 4s, nothing else. $65

DCI 990B irons: great irons, debuted in 2000, was used by DL III, David Duval, Sergio, Billy Andrade, and others. Small, compact blade with weight shelves in the small cavity. Long irons go high and land soft, short irons have a low, controlled trajectory. Very workable and good bounce for tight lies. I just miss that forged feeling. These are cast, but that means they won't ding all to hell in the bag. $150 - I might be replacing them with a set of forged 690.cbs.

Vokey oil cans: Pure classics, got all 3 on fleabay for $120. I prefer the look of the vokeys over the clevelands. great soft, rusted feel and plenty of spin. the gap wedge is money from the fairway.

scotty circa 62 #3: Classic plumbing neck, sexy charcoal mist finish. clean looks, nice sight dot on the topline and perfect balance & feel. classic scotty in every way. $250

Titty x66 stand bag: It's a bag, big deal. Very light and holds plenty of my crap. $100

ProV1 ball: Should I even waste space here? Everyone knows that even God himself plays a ProV1.

Good stuff BJ, I like the new scotty headcovers. He makes the nicest headcovers out of everyone. I bought a 503.H as well. 19* with the NV shaft, really nice.

Never bought them. demo'd a used set at the range and really liked them but they just weren't worth the price for the condition they were in. They have a nice set of 690cbs that I really really like I'm just in the process of talking myself into buying them

the 690s have everything the 681s do + a little forgiveness which I do need considering I only play once a week if I'm lucky. i like everything about em.

The best forged blade ever made is probably the MP-33.

you might give the 695's a look first they are awsome too.. and i agree oon the 33's and the 681's are pretty close to the 33's anyway...

I demo'd the 695's, couldn't tell much of a difference other than a higher price. The local pro at the range I go to (he's on the Hooter's tour) plays the 695cb's. After working with me, he recommended I try out the 690's cause he knew I didn't want to spend a lot of money. He said the 690 series is probably the best Titleist has produced so far. The 690cbs were limited production and are hard to find in a good condition. They are everything I want in an iron, and I can get this set (a trade-in) for under $200. You can't beat that considering they are in very good condition.

Here's the range I frequent. It's almost as nice as Golfaholic's!

    Nice sticks Ping....

I played my first round with the 690cb's Friday and beat Jason (10 handi) 4 & 2. Didn't keep stats, but I know I hit a lot of GIRs and had no 3 putts. The 690's are MONEY folks and I love the Scotty. No need for me to club ho no mo'.

I've re-gripped everything with GP Tour Velvets, labels turned down and no shaft bands. Like McDonald's I'm Lovin It.

i actually tried the 690.cb's we had a set at work (a golf teaching facility) so i hit them on the range and LM... very nice clubs but something just didnt make me want to put them in the bag i guess some clubs for no reason just dont quiet do it for ya... i found them about as forgining as my i3's and a little more workable since theyre forged... nice clubs though...

I'll get right on that JS. I just have played so many courses that I have begun to collect them. I was pretty pumped about the St. Andrews one though.

Haha, I will, they will start to weigh down the bag as well. I'll keep the bag tag from the home course for logical reasons. Someone ahs to lay down the law.

Well it all depends, any driver i am hitting righ now is the biggest pos ever to me. I have a very annoying problem of linging my feet up way right and swinging the club to the left. This works well with irons and wedges becase I am hitting down. But on the driver it makes me hood the club immediately after impact causing me to practically roll the ball. Its like a mental block.

I feel like I am lined up straight but am actually aiming a good 15-20 yards right.

What I forgot to mention is I am going very old school on my irons. I am going to start playing the original Cobra Baffler Blades. The clubheads are basically brand new and have been played for about 5 rounds. I had new shafts and grips put on the clubs. I had them reshafted with True Temper GS 75 S200 iron shafts and regripped them with New golf pride Decade MCC blue grips. Amazingly I loveee these irons but am still practicing with them a little more before I play a few rounds with them.

You know, Scott Verplank played graphite shafted irons until he got the what for from me, Omen, & Hacker. Now his a.ss plays steel and he's more appreciative of his manhood.

    I'm fine with that.
Right now since I have only been playing for 5 months & got a late start on the game at 44, I will take all the help I can use with my gaydar shovels. Eventually when I become as good as Hacker & join the tour, then I will man up & buy some real clubs.

All in due time, right now I like my shovels....cept the launchers aren't nearly as shovel looking as something like the Tour Edge clubs, I believe even the Nike ignites are a hell of a lot bigger. I think I got garden spades instead of a full blown shovel.

Theres one thing to have them, theres another thing if you can hit them, ............
nice irons though, what kind of putter is that you got.

Either you dont play golf very much, or you put covers over your clubs because theres no sign of usage on them

Tibbo, that's because he whiffs on a lot of his iron swings. Probably due to not getting in any range time. It happens. At least they will have some resale value when he mans up and gets some real muscle backs.

Ok ive now seen the most amount of shovel-clubs in my life... i thought the dust on the nickents at golf town was for a reason.. real game improvement irons are blades ; you can really feel a good shot and when you dont hit a good one, it rattles your fingernails off. HYBRIDS ARE FOR SISSYS WHO CANT HIT LONG IRONS.

See sig. All of it was bought in '07, and the TM Driver and Mizuno Irons were most recent.

My avatar shows my new Driver.

For '08, I might consider a new mix of fairway woods and hybrids with input from a club builder. Alpha Low Pro woods and hybrids seem to be his suggestion.

nice mizzy's... how do you like that mac tour wedge?

mats suck... they let you get away with murder but the worst thing is they leave green poo all over your beautiful forged mizzy's....

Thanks. The Mac Tour Bounce wedge is pretty nice, although I'm not sure it's as "forgiving" as I'd like. Overall, I've read others say these are actually some very nice wedges. Most can't say the same about Mac's other clubs...

It was in the 40s today, so I had not choice but hit from the mats. It was the mats or nothing. But, yeah, I cleaned up the clubs after I took the pics, so they don't have green goo on them anymore.

Man those Maltby's look like sh!t. I should have known they were a crap brand the way Lyle raves on about them, but your clubs prove it. No doubt about it, Maltby is the poor mans Adams.

If this wasn't a deliberate attempt at flaming, you should be utterly ashamed of yourself.

First of all, the Mizuno MX-19s are in the bag. Second, don't judge Maltby or GolfWorks when you haven't tried them. They offer numerous heads for a variety of players. And you're even saying I'm poor...

You must have very low self-esteem if you have to put people down on an online forum. All the tired "cb vs. blade" crap on this forum is getting really old...
