    Long Irons: The Conclusion

here it is boys... the end all be all to the long iron topic...

this is revolutionary and not only will it save you money and prevent you from having to carry sissy hybrids but it also will readily identify you to the rest of us who can hit them.

IF YOU CANT HIT LONG IRONS AND AREN'T WILLING TO LEARN, only if you aren't willing to learn, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS

MOVE YOUR BI.TCH AS.S UP TO THE RED TEES...

how you ask does this cure my long iron woes... well simple from the red tees you will never be in a position were you would need to hit the ball 200 yards.

sure theres the exception of the par 5's but treat them the way you did when you were playing from the wrong tees ( the mens tees) and make them 3-4 shot par 5's...

simple, no gay as.s hybrids, and you can take the long irons out since you wont be touching those thing ( makes the bag lighter, not that your fairy a.ss is walking anyway), no wasted money on gimmicky things to make you feel like something you are not ( a man) and one other bonus not to be over looked... maybe you can meet a cool girlfriend who can loan you some midols mid round....

and you guys say i never take your games seriously...

    pish tosh

I've found the cause for behavior such as this.

I present to you the last recorded moment of Omen's sane existence. Brain damage is a beeyotch.

If he'd been hitting a hybrid it would've gotten up sooner and prevented the irreparable trauma that ensued.

Everyone like to watch train wrecks.

The Choo-Choo Omen is running down the track with a full boiler of blow fool-hardly steam and the bridge has been missing for a year.

Next he is going to say that unless you play blades it is not golf.
Or only sand pile tees are allowed.
His Plus Fours in tartan plaid must be spiffy on the practice green and balata balls.

Man, Omens must have been chugging the Johnny Miller kool-aid the past weekend to come up with this sugar induced haze of rhetoric.

I say again, It does not matter what you use just the end result which is the score.

If you want to Pose then find the driving range and impress the kids and women with your ego that a GOD might exist with a 1 iron talent. Otherwise, go release that mule piss drivel to people that you have tied down to the public parkbench.

Long irons, hybrids, blah blah. It doesn't really matter because golf will frustrate you every way possible. This is what happened to me the last time I tried to play Tiger Woods 2007:

Not just any man, usually an old fuking man full of tales of days gone by. The fuking ball doesnt move, it shouldnt be that hard to hit. If you need a lesson to hit a motionless object then you have no business playing this game. Its like buying a checkers set and reading the goddamn instructions. Just play the fuking game.

    Preach on brother Lyle…

Screw coaches… how many majors does Bed-wetter have. ZERO! You think Tiger really needed Butch… do you really think Butch had ANYTHING to do with Tiger’s success? Coaches are people who came close and can’t so they take it out on their students. Hell with them… Tiger should take a cue from his Gillette buddy Roger Federer who hasn’t had a coach in years and won more majors in that time than Tiger.

Why the hell would anyone try to monitor their golf swing after the pre-shot routine and set-up? When a pro is asked what they are thinking at the moment of impact the answer 10 times out of 10 is “I don’t know.” A golf swing is too fast to be thinking of any specific BS fundamental. Just hit it… just play it… you don’t need your hand held… and if you suck, find something else to do... or hit the beer cart.

It was about long irons up until you made this statement. Then it became about mid-irons.

200 yards is a long iron shot? I didn't know we were considering 5, 6, and 7 irons as long irons nowadays. Why wasn't I informed?

Couldn't agree with you more Lyle.

It's like the old saying "Those who can, do. Those who can't, teach."

All those broken down, decrepid old farts, or young retards who don't pack the stuff, would not be sitting around in pro shops like stale bottles of beer, trying to tell you they can show you how to play golf for 50 bucks a half hour, if they were actually good enough to go out on tour and play for a living. It seems illogical to take advice from some bum who is an abject failure at what they do 'for a living'.

no i dont consider them long irons... well maybe the five iron but just barely and only by default because it sits in the same slot as my 3 and 4 irons.

    remain on topic... last warning

So you're saying you'd take a lesson from Boo Weekley over Hank Haney?

Tiger must've hit his head or something. He's obviously got the wrong guy barking in his ear.
