I really like the scotty Custom Shop covers. Replacing a scotty headcover is a pain in the ass though as they are so expensive.

Here are the ones that I like:

    nice railgun billboard

i am really leaning toward the custom embroidery option... dont want to advertise my cameron in case there are sticky fingers around.

i really love the brock option.. where can i buy one?

Shouldn't a cover with clover on it have four leaf clovers? They are supposedly the ones that bring you luck.

I'm embarrassed to admit, I'm one of those idiots that has a Cameron putter cover collection and have most that are in this thread. I know, why don't I start a pocket protector collection.

If you want a putter cover that is absolutely guaranteed to prevent your putter from being stolen because noone would ever want it and there's absolutely no resale value, go with any Nike cover.

very nice post lorenzo lol, you actually collect cameron covers? thats pretty cool. I think that the way they price them is rediculous no matter how rare they are. Its still a fricken head cover.

Have fun with the collection, you should post some pics.

The key is today's value vs. tomorrow's. That hula girl that is selling for mid 200-s in a prior post? I got mine for 80 several years ago. I'll work on some pics, but hopefully first I'll nail a couple I'm now chasing (although christmas time bad for deals). If you want to get really crazy, some of the putters themselves are trading for thousands of dollars.

No question. By the way, do you know what the most overpriced headcover is based on price vs. number made? It's the one featuring the canadian maple leaf commemorating Mike Weir's win. Your neighbors are as crazy over this stuff as anyone. But I'm kind of in a glass house here.

Just duct tape the bastard in between shots. Cheap, very protective and unless Red Green is hacking it around your track one day, completely theft proof.

Another use for duct tape. It's just endless. Although question: Which is less desireable: A wad of gummed up, torn, disgusting, reused duct tape, or something with the Nike logo on it?

That question is harder than I first thought, let me think it over for a while, no wait, the gummed up piece of tape by far.

I think the putter cover is the most important one. If the back of irons get dinged its no big deal, but a putter face is usually soft and you want that thing in mint condition.

This method is fine for you as your putting can't get any worse.

Actually, the best thing to cover your putter with can be pretty high maintenance and usually won't come to the golf course with you.

We both know that Unitizing a putter is the best thing to happen since rails on a 3 wood. I lost my sweet putter cover and I'm loving it. Seriously.

Sick Day... weather was good for golf but i've caught a nasty cold....

i agree that unitizing and rails are in the same category. I only want a putter cover to hide the name. Scotty Cameron is a highly sought after putter so naked it is still a target... If i had a NIKE pos i wouldnt cover it either... hell you cant pay people to play those shiites

I guess I walked into that.
In all seriousness, what is the fascination with SC? They're good putters, but people go ape-sh!t over a putter covers and ball mark removers that sell for $40. The guy could come out with a putter made out leather and the lemmings would be all over it. Take the SC blinders off and get with the future (Unitized).

Is he coming out with one? I haven't heard anything. Where did you hear? I hope I can get one for under $600.

not a fascination with SC... its a demand for a quality putter...

SC is in the bag for the same reason that Mizuno is... top of the line equip...

it doesnt have to be a SC.. i mean if i found a slighter, RJB, or Mills, that had a weight and look i liked then it would be in the bag and I would want a putter cover on them for the same reason.

likewise i wouldn't mind putting fourteen, golds factory, or scratch blades in my bag either... hell i would even consider the 695's (MB's Only, No BIOTCH CB's for me) as long as it is quality and suits my eye...

BUT THERE IS NO EFFING WAY ANY UNITIZED POS WILL EVER BE IN MY BAG...

Omen... FORGED BLADES: BLADE PUTTERS...NO EXCEPTIONS.

When you're fitted with the right Cameron, it feels like its almost on autopilot when your stroke is good. And the feedback you get combined with the supreme feeling of a properly stroked putt makes the putter worth a lot more than the latest POS driver, which by the way typically costs more.

Why dont you take out that girly SC and put in a manly putter, say an original ping anser. No one would think about stealing a ping anser because they'd know a real man owns that bag, not some rich pos who bags a scotty.

If you found a putter cover that said purple heart, bronze star, disable veteran... then they would be pretty good theft deterents. But find something that you have actually done.
Or find a Baylor football cover. NOBODY LIKES BAYLOR.

well i have no purple heart, bronze star, or diabled veteran ribbons so I am SOL there: but it is a sweet idea.

Baylor or BYU should do the trick as well.
