I have the golfsmith one. It is an excellent unit and very accurate. The Mitchells are way overpriced and no better.

The more I think about it, the less expensive I'm making it sound to myself. Based on your rec, I'm leaning towards the GS machine to have in the garage. I think I'm paying around $75-$100 per year to get the loft/lie check and adjustments, although partly because of that pesky 5 iron.

yeah they are super easy to use... if you have forged you may want to wrap a thin soft towelette around the clubhead to avoid indentations in the softer metal as much as possible..

every club should definitely have one.

I definitley agree that Titleist forgings lack in the feel department. I have owned the 690CB's. Most Titleist are beautiful to look at though. I also agree that off therack Mizunos must be checked out before playing. My MP-33's were all out of spec when I had them checked.

I have to throw in the Ben Hogan line, being that is what I play now. I wouldn't say they feel better than Mizunos, but they are right up there with them. Mizuno is #1. Hogan would be 1A. Hogans can be had dirt cheap now that they are seemingly being phased out by Callaway. What a shame. Shovel pushers are ruining a great product. I may buy a second set of Apex irons for the future.

Oh, I've seen it. Something this beautiful comes down to that warm, cuddly, subjective glow one feels when seeing a true work of art. In my opinion, it's even more spectacular than the F2 wedge, and then some........

Have you tried the current Callaway Tour (forged)? I didn't like them overall, but I thought the feel was really cool.

Yeah you're right, the F2 looks relatively conventional compared to the other two.

I'm not in the market for a new wedge but when my current setup wears out I'll know where to look for my next great wedge.
