He is an amazing specimen. It would be interesting to see how long he could string together these victories if he wasn't retiring.

I will say bicycle racing is about as exciting to watch as grass grow, but it's cool to read the results in the paper.
    I keeps it real.

    Lance Armstrong looking good

It's coming down to the home stretch on the Tour de France, and that resiliant Texan is still well in the lead. Amazing story overall; it looks like he'll go out on top if things continue as is until the weekend.
    Seldom right, never in doubt......

There's a bit of a problem, though. The French are trying to get him kicked out of the race and there's even talk of stripping him of his previous titles.

Apparently they have found, in his hotel room, items banned under French law. Soap, deodorant and toothpaste.

    You nailed that one

My first thought was even "Oh, great, what are the stinkin' French doing now", yes, I do have a few pre-conceived notions about the French at times.

Probably justified....over-rated food, over-rated wine and an arrogance you wouldn't believe.

Was so delighted when London trumped them for the Olympics. Three times in 20 years the international community has told them to shove it - you'd think they'd get the message.

It's all over. What it lacked in drama, it made up in historical significance.

Great Accomplishment once again even if I am to stupid or uninterested to actually be able to understand what is going on in that crazy bike race. All I know is he rides forever faster than any one else. And its great because as we all know the French love to see americans succeed on there in there own country where they cant.(see, WW1,WW2)
    LOL
