drivers headed to Branson in June

yeppers, i'm taking the family to "the city of which we do not speak" to have some fun in the sun.

kidsfest at silver dollar city, & my parents are taking up their 5th wheel as well. (free room & board)

so, dad & i will be chopping up this track: www.bransoncreekgolf.com

i've never played it, but some of my colleagues have, & they say it's the best course in this part of the country.

HEY LARRY, if you click on testimonials you will find one from corey pavin.

i say any course that has an endorsement from a pos chopper shovel playing us open winner is tops in my book!

P.S. if any of you sod layers want to come whoop my arse while i'm in branson (and you have every right to do so in that town) let's at least get in 18 holes and some good spirits at the 19th hole first.
Be glad we aren't getting all of the government we're paying for.

Drivers, Branson has changed (for the good) in my opinion. Not only gray blue hairs around and country music entertainment, but other shows; other restaurants, etc. Branson Creek is a BEAUTIFUL course in my opinion. Look for some specials; it's a high ticket greens fee on weekends. It's a Fazio design with lots of different looks, elevation changes, water, zoysia fairways. Great track, especially for a vacation. Not as tough as Karsten Creek for example, but it's a fantastic resort course.

Try Pointe Royale, too. My buddy is golf pro there. They closed track down after 4th of July weekend last year. Redid course greens, tee boxes, etc. It's a tight course with some different holes. Very enjoyable.

Also see some of the shows! Saw the Chinese Acrobats! They were freakin' awesome. You can NOT believe some of the stuff they do from balancing to acrobatics, to turning themselves into pretzel shapes, etc. A show not to miss and if you are bringing kiddies, they will be in AWE. Also saw a Polynesian Fire dance show; good but not great. Titanic Museum exhibit is fun.

Have a blast; I'm going back for July 4th weekend, again, I'm sure.

    Now it's just called "golf".

It's something that brings out a little emotion in people who liked him; see his actual bag, shoes, etc. Ryder Cup stuff, that sort of thing IF you like that.

Cougar in donkey language? LOL I know you might be referring to "gray/blue hairs" but I'm serious.......Branson pickings have gotten much better, maybe even for Drivers. Try the Outback Bar. (not a national chain but where locals hang out)

I'm heading there end of May. My brother in law lives in Vegas and I borrow his roommates ID and pay the resident rate. It's awesome.

What's that course like? Isn't Primm a ways outside vegas? I guess for $25 its worth the drive.
I've played Tuscany, Alliante, Las Vegas National, Both Angel Park courses and Los Prados. Maybe we'll check out Primm.

I'm thinking about Black Mountain and Badlands this time. I'm there 6 days so I want to get out everyday if possible.
