Isn't this the site where you can go to replace a lost club? If so, I think they have been in business for a long time, and are reputable.
Seldom right, never in doubt......

nope, gotta purchase a couple of clubs.
don't want to put my credit card on a site that's questionable.
figured, everyone talks about them, but I rarely ever hear of anyone buying from them.

By the way, on the subject of whether a website or internet business can be trusted, I always do a Google search before I do business with a source I haven't used before. If they aren't reputable (eg. BHM golf) there will always be a website devoted to sharing horror stories about them. I've been spared from buying camera equipment from sites that did business like BHM golf by doing a web search. Of course, if the company hasn't been in business long enough to incur the wrath of multiple victims, then you're on your own. Ironfinder has been around for a long time.

I think Wind is getting pretty close to 94 posts.
Are you a photographer Dman?

But ALL of the "Wind" posts are spam.
I enjoy photography, so I guess I am as much a "photographer" as I am a "golfer" or "skier." My wife and I enjoy photography, and usually our vacations are "photofests" in national parks or vacation/recreation tourist sites. Obviously, family and our dog are prime targets as well.
We are Canon addicts. I'm just updating the camera body to the new EOS 7D (on order), and we have some "L" series lenses to maximize the quality of the images. We're going to Alaska on a cruisetour next summer, so we just got a stronger telefoto zoom for longer range nature photography (the 100-400 L series lens). With the 1.6 magnification factor of a digital camera, it will be the equivalent of up to 600 mm on a film camera, and with image stablization, we can still hand hold it and get good shots.

That sounds like a Super Game Improvement camera. Wouldn't you prefer an old fashion camera where if you don't get the light, focus, zoom and stability just right you will be punished with blurry, under/over exposed, shitbox photos?
That camera is holding back the development of your photography skills by masking your photography flaws.
I chose the road less traveled.
Now where the f#ck am I?

That is an impressive setup. I bought a little Canon 450D Xsi this year. I don't have any L lenses, but the pictures are still a million times better than my old digital PS cameras.

It makes sense, doesn't it? A spammer 'spams', i.e. posts in an excess.

We have the Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM as our main "bread and butter" lens, the Canon EF 70-200mm f/4.0 L IS USM has been our telephoto zoom until now, but we've added the Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 L IS USM in anticipation of wildlife photography on our Alaska trip next summer. I felt hampered by only having the 200 zoom at Yellowstone last summer. My friends who are really into photography have told me what I already know. If I want to do decent nature / wildlife photography, I need at least the 400 power on the telephoto (the highest power Canon goes in telephoto). I don't have the desire to drop several thousand dollars each on "prime" telephoto lenses; the L series zoom lenses do a good enough job for my needs, and it offers more flexibility than simply having several prime lenses.
Seldom right, never in doubt......

LOL, very good Kiwi, as your clever post seemed to go unoticed I just wanted to let you know that some appreciate your sense of humour.
I am under the impression that Canon is a Japanese company. Do you think that their photography gear is now mass produced in Chinese sweatshops?

No, never visited there.
I certainly don't claim to be any sort of an expert on photography, but I have researched the Canon line pretty well, and gotten recommendations from people who know a whole lot more about it than I do.
Seldom right, never in doubt......

I have no illusions about my equipment being the top of the food chain. One can always spend more and get more. I think I've gotten excellent quality at a comparatively reasonable price vs. some of the alternatives.
This is a hobby, not a profession.
FYI; notice what lenses are being used by the professional photographers at man sporting events. I'd guess that more than half are using "L Series" EF telephoto lenses. They are easily distinguished because of their light colored paint vs. most other companies whose lenses are black.

That's always encouraging. Any scam artist would try to ignore you as long as possible, then stall you with false promises.
This sounds like the sort of confirmation one gets from Amazon.com and many other reputable internet merchants

I noticed this razor sharp post, OP. I shoot some, so this is thought provoking for me. But I specialize in nude photos, so it's purely results that count.
At least until my entire set-up was recently stolen. Now I'm working a cheap, cast POS Nikon SSSGI camera until I decide what to get..
GR lives...

Looks like FedEx picked it up a couple of days ago.
It'll be in by today. Amazing.
Really quick shipping and response.
I'll keep you posted on the condition of the club when it arrives.

But ruining a few pictures could be an advantage in nude photography. You just keep asking them back to repeat the pose at a later time.....
