They have abdicated their historic role of cross-checking the current administration, "keeping them honest." The Obama White House and democrat congress have run up the current deficit to $1.8 TRILLION and future year deficits will NEVER be less than $1 Trillion EACH! This trend is alarming the world. If China et. al. decide NOT to buy US Bonds to finance our grossly irresponsible spending, our dollar will inflate to 3d world dimensions.

Worse, the world sees Obama's indecisiveness. The world's despots know there will be NO RESPONSE to any attack on America or our allies. He is the weakest US President in history-- FAR weaker than Jimmy Carter. Isreal knows it is on its own--their treaties with America are worthless. If they are attacked, they will fight and if they are outnumbered, they will use nukes. They will never allow Jews to be killed because of a failure to fight.

The current drive to bring all health care in the US under the federal government, to create a giant new entitlement program, is a blatant attempt to nationalize or socialize our economy. The only thing left would be private businesses-- and they will be regulated and taxed into oblivion. Unemployment will hit 15% next year-- and worse after that. I didn't have time to read the whole report but I found this interesting. CNN and Fox are nearly mirrors of each other. But NPR seems to be the closest as fair and balanced. Still left leaning but not way out of whack like the other two are. Wall Street Journal seems pretty good as well. I wonder what BBC world news would have scored?

FOX local news is funny shiat in my area. They have segments like "Meth Watch" were the go to locale busts of Meth houses and show you pictures of the house, interview neighbors, etc. It's always hillbillies out in the middle of nowhere. It's usually right after "Dirty Dinning" where they show you places that got bad reviews from the Health Board. Funny shiat. They even tried one of those 20/20 on-line pervert busts.
