GFF results get better and better

    Hi

Just finished a great weekend of golf. Saturday i won the Monthly Medal with a gross 79 net 69. It should have been a 77 but like the choking twat i am i doubled the last. Have been cut to 9 so for the first time in a while i am back off single figures.

Sunday i played in a society game at a total goat track, shite hole of a course. Had a mare on the front but shot 21 pts on the back for 34 pts total off a society handicap of 6.

Since i have had the GFF MX 25 irons my game scoring has really improved and my ball striking is as good as it has ever been. I am chuffed beyond belief and if my soon to arrive Yes Callie Forged is as good as i hope it will only get better.

    Great job, Edgey!!

YES Callie Forged, huh? I played one of those for two years. I still have it, but it's being replaced this week by Mr. Bettenardi. The feel on the Callie was just too inconsistent for me. It may be a good one for you though as I believe putters are as varied and as personal as dress ties. Good luck.

Yessir, I too am feeling GFF love as well. I'm hopefully going to shave off the magic 4 strokes off the hc and start flirting with a 10 again....
And the Yes! Callie Forged is excellent I got one with my GFF irons. I started with the regular Callie and liked it alot!

Thanks Sooner, took a bit of a punt on the Callie. If it isnt any good it will be in the loft, with the other 100 odd clubs

I have a shaft out of a heavy putter which i am thinking of fitting into it.

You're making me rue my decision to get rid of the MX20s. In hindsight they were probably the best quality irons I've owned (with possible exception of the Zoids but they were second hand and not as good a nick as the MX20s which I bought new), but at the time I couldn't get the Zoids without offloading the MX20s. It's no use having regrets though, and the TPS 6.0s seem to have finally filled the hole.

    GFF = Grain Flow Forged

It is the metal making process Mizuno uses when forging their golf club heads.

Did I touch a nerve there. Yes I play Mizuno MX-23 shovels that perform wonders when my swing is on, when my swing is off they perform like shite. I have also played taylormade, callaway, and cobras that have performed just as good or bad.

Too summerize a golf club is a piece of metal attached to a piece of round grafite or steel that is separated from your hand by a rubber grip which is controlled by the ass hole holding the club. I tend to think the ass hole holding the club is more important than the club, go figure. This GFF band wagon shite is startin to remind me of the nambla bandwagon you all got off a few years back. HA! I think if anyone got a nerve touched it would be you my friend....I've swung many clubs too. It just so happens that Mizi's are the best feeling clubs I've ever hit. Period. GR has absolutely nothing to do with that.
I don't remember you having put up such a fuss about tittys Pro V's or anything but then again, I've got a good memory, it's just not very long.

I don't play pro v's unless I find them. Mizzys are good clubs but there are better out there. Good advice about taking one self so seriously. BTW how long havve you been back on this forum since you left in a snit. I for one don't hold it against you I too have quit and come back.
A golf club is only as good as the ass hole holding it.

I'm not sure when I left and came back. A couple of months ago I guess. Wasn't much of a snit really although it was announced. It was when all the "STFU newbie" shite was being steadily flung. It got pretty lame.
My GFF is making this ass hole play a lot better. Those 4 strokes should be off my hc in no time!

Putting has been mucho better lately. Course management has played the biggest part though. I owe that to GPS and the yardages it gives you for layups so rather than pull my driver out on all par 4's or a long iron or hybrid for 2nd shots on par 5's I'll set myself up for my money shot which is 100-105 yards. It really puts another dimension to the game rather than the trained monkey, hit it as far as I can mentality.....

    Hi

I have it thankyou, together with its bright pink "Yes" grip, fantastic.

I have only used it indoors due to bad weather in the UK at the moment. I have to say for a non insert putter it has a very soft feel. It is a very nice weight as well, about 355g i would guess.

I am planning to use it tomorrow so i will give an on course report after that.

Cool! Yes! I went from a white hot to the yes. The insert on the white hot was just too hot. Combine that with the occasional off center putts and I never knew what I was going to get.

Used but mint, i in fact chose the Pink Yes grip after having it shortened from 35 to 34". Could have had a yellow/black/white but thought it was a bit dull.

Whats all this "gender associated" shite, real men play with Pink dont ya know. Camp Freddy swears by it.

LOL! No worries my brutha! HA! Whatever color grip you have that putter will bring nothing but confidence when standing over your putt. I predict a 28 putt or better day for you. Combine that with your GFF and you're money!
