Sadly, I am sad that you're sad spank. However, I would have expected someone of your (alleged) flaming capabilities and talents would realize that sending this guy an email A WEEK AND A HALF LATER, after he's received at least 3 similar rounds of emails, would kind of be showing up to the party a little late, and thus quite lame. Perhaps I have mis-overestimated you spank. Sadly, I hope this is not true, for it would make me quite....sad. I hope this is simply a short lapse in judgment on your part, and I look forward to the opportunity to work with you in the future.

May I politely ask that you go up to the top of this thread and see that this thread is 2 FREAKING YEARS OLD!!!
Go ahead and puss out. I feared that you might be scared, and that is what I didn't want to happen. Privately I was hoping that you were the kind of person that could do something like this, but you must be someone who is an employee or something... I didn't recognize this, until I saw your e-fear.
I own my own business, so I operate from a whole different level than you, so I am totally not scared to talk to bastards like BHM...
You have the "employee, scared to get fired" mentality. I understand now...
Maybe you can just call me BOSS in the future. But go ahead and chatter on now. Continue... (wheelhouse, lol)

May I politely ask that you check when HB started harassing this guy (i.e. the point of this whole conversation)? Go ahead, scroll up. We'll wait for you. Oh, what's that? A week ago? Come on spank, focus. You can do better, I just know it.

I don't understand LC3.
Since when has flogging something to death over and over, and then resurrecting it to flog it again, been lame. This forum lives on revisiting old topics.
P.S. Spank, I'm not wussing out. I just thought I would wait til the day after Christmas to really rheem this clown about my (fictitous) son not getting his Chrissy present, as promised by him in the replies he has sent to my previous 5 emails on this topic.
It might take a few days to get a reply but I'll post it all when it comes back.

Hi Harvking,
Thanks for giving information about BHM Golf, you helped me not to get cheated from those people.
Thanks a lot.

Very cool.
I remember that I ordered him not to email me again, and he did, so I will come in, angry after a 3 week business meeting in South Africa, after I ordered him not to... This will explain why I did not reply to him 2 weeks ago. I am going to rock his world, perhaps...
Horseballs, Not a Hacker----> let's get this rolling close to, or, after the new year...

I'm definitely in.

And it should get some good threads going from the responses. I wonder if he'll try to use the FBI threat on somebody in Australia?

The Illinois Attorney General filed a lawsuit against BHM on December 28, 2007.
The site listed below has the info on it and tells how you can file your complaint
with their office.

I am glad to see that he will be removed from doing business. Thanks for the update.

Thanks for the info, cs768.
It's amazing that it takes 200 complaints to the Illinois Better Business Bureau before the Attorney General's Office makes a case against him. Sounds like our buddy Brian may be totally effed, since the fine is a potential $50K per violation.
Tyrone Beckham better get his licks in now, because BHM won't be able to pay his internet access soon.

I have heard his father is a lawyer. If that is the case they probably have a few ideas how to dodge this one or drag it out indefinitly. Perhaps the manufacturers he does have accounts with will stop justifying doing business with him because "He moves alot of stuff" and realize having their name associated with him tarnishes their image. It really hurts to see the Bobby Jones name connected to a store facing a lawsuit like this one.

I know it's probably a little late as Big Bad Brian will have other things to occupy his mind right now, but I just sent this to him.
Dear Brian,
I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with you and your company. This is the fifth email I have sent to you, and as yet you have failed to reply so I must say I am getting a little concerned about your intentions to honour the deal we made, which I have paid for by cash through the mail like you asked. I hope you finally get off your arse and have the common courtesy to at least reply. As my previous emails point out, I am awaiting a shipment of 144 dozen mixed Slazenger, DDH and Pinnacle X-out golf balls, which you assured me were 'at least' as good as Pro V1's at only a fraction (3/4) of the price. As you would also know, I needed the balls before the end of the year for new memberships to the social golf club I run here. I am in a state of panic and nervously await the postal delivery every day to see if the shipment has arrived. This intolerable delay is causing me extreme distress and I think I am developing an anxiety disorder.
This is your last chance to make things right. Please send your reply by signed letter to my home address. I will accept nothing but the balls specified in the deal. My lawyer is currently exploring civil action for the emotional stress your shoddy dealings has caused me and members of my social club. We are considering a group action at this stage.
P.S. This message will be forwarded to the Illinois Attorney General if I don't get the Slazengers.
Awaiting your response.

That is brilliant.
I may email him with a demand to publicly apologize on his website to everyone he has defrauded, and promise to make it right... perhaps he can make a deal with the A.G. but he has to start showing some remorse quickly...
He has screwed with thousands of bastards, and I believe he is in his 50's... His dad may be a lawyer, but probably retired, and in no way equipped to go after the A.G.
He hasn't replied to my last email; I don't think he will, but he sure was quick to threaten me before this lawsuit came up.
But his website is still up, and that needs to be taken down, right? Hopefully, the Attorney General will do this.

Brian is apparently not in his 50's...he's in his 30's.
His profile used to be posted at:
http://www.ag.state.il.us/pressroom/...20071228b.html
but it is gone now. He was listed as BHMGolf. Found it when doing google searches for dirt on BHM.
His Dad is a retired lawyer, but perhaps in a different specialty...some kind of corporate law I think?
I have contacted his website provider before, or at least the people listed as the website provider, and I will do it again(would they want to be encouraging fraud?). Also time for another round of emails to manufacturers? I once got a response from Tiger Shark, who forwarded Brian on the email I had sent.
Website provider: http://www.whydevelop.com/

Sorry. His profile was at:
http://webcenter.match.love.compuser...e/singles.html
Luckily it is down for the sake of all single women.

am suomi, you have to post a picture of this BHM nerd here. Please?
Here is one happy dude that started a BHM sucks blog: http://bhmgolfsucks.blogspot.com/200...n-h-meyer.html
Cool. Go get em' tiger.

-
Actually, it's my blog
Brian looked short, fat, and balding. Too bad the personal ad is gone. We could have made some fake profiles to set up dates with him.
But, here are more pictures. I used to do google searches on BHM to see what came up when I was procrastinating for studying for finals...This is from his brother in law's website:
http://www.schrohe.com/Photos/bigb.htm
http://www.schrohe.com/Photos/Wedding/main.htm (look for Brian)
The pictures on his personal profile were better (or, worse cause you could see detail). some were of him at work wearing a phone headset. He bragged on his profile that "now that his professional life is in order he is looking for a special someone..."
-
I'm wondering what he planned to do with that sardine. That guy next to him kind of looked like he was beginning to bend over.
-
That is your blog? Cool.
Look at how small his calves are, and the size of his belly in his picture below. The fish is shamefully small, as well. He probably didn't even catch it, the nerd.
What a nerd.

Wait, those can't be his legs, I assumed they were legs from the deck chair he was sitting on. You couldn't even make a decent Oso Bucco out of those legs. Not that I would. He'll never win his court case. He doesn't have a leg to stand on.
-
So then, this is Brian H. Meyer's (BHM) parents and sister, at Brian's sister's wedding?

Wow. Compared to them, Brian looks like a total tardass/lardass; a bonafide retard...
Amazing. You can tell by the smile on his mother's face that she must have totally whipped his ass until he turned 18; I can totally see that poor lady pulling a rolling stick out on that retard, when he was a kid... Brian looks like he has a nice family.
Wonder if he was adopted?

And yet another way to f**k with this guy. I emailed two links, one to the blog where he gets a 0.42 of 10 and the other to the state of Illinios fraud link, to Mizuno asking them to stop doing business with this j*** o*f. Now just every other company he does business with should help golfers everywhere.
Hello Jesse,
Thank you for contacting Mizuno USA. BHM Golf is no longer an
authorized
retailer of Mizuno products. There account as suspended in March of
2007
and we will no longer do business with them. We appreciate your time
and
concern.
Best Regards,
Mizuno USA
-
That's cool Jesse.
Unfortunately I have nothing to report at my end from BHM. Brian must be a little too busy to send me a reply (or the Slazenger X-outs). What with running such a reputable golf supply business, fending off the fraud squad, and maintaing an online playboy persona he is a busy boy. I might send him another message but I think it might be a waste of time.
P.S. Whoever stole Brians neck, please give it back. It must be very hard for him to get any seond dates looking like a stand in for the role of humpty dumpty at the local panto.

I think this guy brian is getting what he deserves. I was unfortunate and placed a order with him. I searched and found this blog, made me threaten to cancel the order and report him for fraud. After all of this, he sent me the wrong color golf bag. I hope he goes out of business. Keep up the work guys.

If I buy ANYTHING related to golf that's not from ebay, I get it from www.tgw.com. They have good prices and excellent customer service. Can't beat it.

Ripped off by BHM Golf
I wish I would've found this thread before last Christmas, when I made the mistake of going through Brian to get what I thought was a great deal on a custom MLB Titleist Golf bag. Ever since then, it's been a nightmare with him not returning calls, emails, and flat-out refusing to do anything for me to get my money back. This guy is a fraud. I recommend going to ripoffreport.com if you want to see my whole story. Bottom line: do not deal with BHM Golf!

Hello my fellow screwed-over golfers - here's my thoughts :
To deal with this crook its best to communicate with him by email. That way you have a record for any subsequent action you need to take to get your money back and have him prosecuted :
Here's what I did :
1. After 2 months of his lies, I cancelled my order and requested a refund by email. (Needless to say - you won't get a refund from this thief, but you need the email as proof you've requested a refund.)
Then raise a dispute with your credit card company. You should get your money back (I did after a few weeks). BHM Golf must now becoming well known to credit card companies as fraudsters.
Then do the following :
1. If your order was originally in response to an ad on the BHM web site, enter a complaint on the Internet Crime Complaint Centre
http://www.ic3.gov/
2. Fill in a complaint form and send with accompanying invoice/email trail if possible to the Chicago Attorney Generals office. BHM is currently being sued by them, so this will add weight to the case.
http://www.illinoisattorneygeneral.g...ers/index.html
You might also want to consider contacting the Villa Park Police department
630-834-7447
I saw on another web site that Lieutenant Michael Lay (mlay@vppd.org) is investigating BHM and the many claims against them.
Its time this criminal was stopped.
Good luck!

Don't Buy Anything From Bhm Golf!
I ordered some golf hats he had listed as "In stock and ready to ship!". After numerous attempts to contact him via phone and email were ignored, I called PayPal, who told me he had to take the charge off because "it's in process and the vendor has to do it" (which is really stupid of PayPal, but that's a different story). I filed a complaint, and viola! He emails and tells me "It's all PayPal's fault, and he has spoken to me about it", which is total BS. This guy is delusional and a crook - DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM BHM GOLF!
-
Dishonest Sleaze Bags!
Ordered "in stock" items and they charged credit card over 6 weeks ago! Nothing received - RUDE treatment on telephone - and they will not issue a credit card rebate. Avoid these theives!

Sad I did not know before
Helo, I am from Czech republic so I appologize for my English I am sooo sad I did not find your messages before I made an order by BHM golf!!! I would like to tell you my story with them to warry all potentional clients of BHM golf!!
I wanted to buy a Taylor made stand bag and I´ve found on bhmgolf.com very good prize so I ordered the bag...Few days after I still did not have any reply or submition so I wrote them what is going on with my bag...they reply that it is prepared but I need to pay the shipping...I thought it will be arround 100 USD so I sent them my credit card details...what a mistake!!! cause few days later I looked at my account and there were 4!!! amouts billed...so I wrote them and called them and Mr.Brian Meyer was appologizing for sending me fairway wood what I did not order, so he billed me again the amount of the golf bag ($169) shipping of the bag ($344!!!!) and prize of the wood ($244) and shipping of the wood ($294) so I was at that time minus 1000 USD!!!when I wasn´t even informed about that!!Now it will be almost a month from this day and I still did not have my bag, I have already sent back the wood I did not order and I am still waitng for my money to be sent back on my account. I asked already my friend´s husband (attorney) to call there cause Mr.Meyer is not answering my calls anymore and I am thinking about to file an action against BHM golf. IF THERE IS ANYONE ELSE HOW WOULD LIKE TO JOIN I WILL APPRECIATE IT AND WE CAN FILE THE ACTION TOGETHER!! My email is hlavackova@insports.cz Or if you have any idea how to help me to get my money back I will also be very happy is you let me know! Thank you and be careful ;) Bye Jana
-
Satisfied customer -- really!
Well, (as I posted on resellerratings.com) all I know is, I ordered a set of Nickent ARC irons with stiff shafts, along with an ARC 56-degree wedge, from Brian, and they just got delivered -- in four days via UPS, with free shipping. Honestly, I received exactly what I ordered. I must acknowledge the myriad bad reviews about BMH Golf here, but I had no problems whatsoever, and got the best price on the ARCs in all the land. Plus, Brian gave me $10 off the 56-degree wedge. Caveat emptor is always good advice, but BMH Golf and Brian took care of me, for sure. Now if the snow will ever melt here in Maine, I'll actually get to use my new dolls in the spring. Golf on. . . .
-
Should have Known
I buy or at least research everything from one dollar to tens of thousands on line and I let this guy slip through...shame on me. I didn't check him out until after I received my wrong model, wrong shaft, RIGHT HAND club in lue of the LEFT HAND club that I ordered. I strongly suspected a foul stench when after I ordered it I called because I didn't receive tracking notice, he answered that it was on it's way without even asking who I was. I thought, does this guy only sell one item a month or what? I was greatly relieved and very happy when it arrived earlier than he had told me only to have my bubble busted by a club that was totaly useless. When I called him he could not confirm that he had the correct club on wanted me to wait on him to email me with information some day later. This was supposed to be a birthday present and I can find it elsewhere so I asked him to cancel an I would return his club (pending his sending me the return shipping doc). He mumbled something about tracking or something and hung up. Thankfully I had canceled my credit card before he put a charge on this. I don't steal so I'm waiting for him to email me with shipping instructions so we can square up. BHM NEEDS TO BECOME ONE OF THE DOWNWARD ECONOMIC STATISTICS!!! Send this guy to the back of the unemployement line.
-
Crazy
Oh my God....
This guy is a head case!!!!! Rude and cursing at me on the phone. I only wish that I had read the blog about him before I ordered. I was lucky and did not provide my credit card # when I ordered. But this man is crazy and I cannot believe that he is still in business!!!! After cursing at me and hanging up on me ..... he now keeps calling!!!!! Tell every one DO NOT place any orders with this wretched company!!!!!!!!!!!
-
You got it. What a nut. I was lucky also in that he sent the wrong club and didn't charge me. After about a month he called me out of the blue and asked if I'd recieved my club. I reminded him "no" but I did recieve a club I didn't ask for and because I needed it then, we agreed to cancel. "Oh ya", he says. So I remind him that I'm still storing it while I await his return shipping doc. "You still have my address right?" "Yes", he says. That was a month ago, still haven't heard from him. How does he stay in business let alone out of jail?
-
TGW, Golfsmith, and Edwin Watts are the only internet stores with which I've done business over the years. They're really big outfits that sent me what I ordered pretty quickly.
I've recently bought my stuff from our green grass pro shop which has a fitting studio and cannot charge too much over the internet prices and still stay afloat. In addition to golf equipment and apparel, they have racquets sports, swimming, and fitness gear as well.
Golf was the last sport added to the club, this occuring with the purchase of the old public course abutting the property. Having gotten my gym needs out of the way at Rip Valenti's in the 1960s, I didn't join until after it became a golf club. Then again, when there were still mortgages and tuitions with which to deal, I wasn't able to join a club until then anyway.
The internet is probably a good place to buy anything except the clubs themselves. The only exception is if off the rack happens to fit you.
-
I've purchased thousands of dollars of stuff by internet over the years and have never had a problem with anyone until BHM. When it comes to golf equipment, I try to keep my spending to a minimum, it's just somethin to do while I drink beer. I found the club I was trying to get from BHM on Amazon, always quick and reliable. I would love to get clubs from a store that has a fitting studio but I usually by older models which limits the odds that they still stock what I'm looking for. Thankfully most internet golf sources are up and up. This guy from Illinios just needs to go away.
-

This is the value of a thread like this. It gets listed on the internet search engines, and may prevent future victims. As I mentioned on the "lost irons" thread, the prudent buyer will do a search on the merchant before buying from an unfamiliar source, and the dirt will be exposed.

THIS IS NOT A REAL BUSINESS
DON'T GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD
I just inquired about shipping prices from BMH Golf, then opted not to order when I discovered it would cost more to ship than the item was worth ($11.95 for a $10 hat). I WAS CIVILIZED AND POLITE, HOWEVER, The BMH guy that called me then decided to spend the next ten minutes calling me a "F&cking, piece of sh%t c$ck-s%cking mother f&cker..." Then when I hang up, . he had the nerve to call back and continue his drunken verbal rampage. I'm fairly certain this is a one-drunken-man operation, and I shudder to think about how grateful I am that I didn't give them my credit card info. THIS IS NOT A REAL BUSINESS

Liar
Let's set the record straight. Please read this story carefully, and if anyone (other than Mr. Wonderful himself) finds fault, please let me know. I did not agree to the order, I sent a shipping price request. I was extremely clear as to what was willing to pay in the email request. He didn't have to call me back, if he couldn't ship a hat from Chicago to New York for $5, he could simply have deleted the request.
BUT NOOOOOO.
When I didn't simply accept his exorbitant shipping fee, he proceeded to flip out. And when I say "flip out," I mean he called me 6 times and sent me a text on my cell within one hour, threatening and yelling at me. "I'm gonna bomb you," "I'm gonna kill you," "I'm gonna sue you,"F&%k you," "F&%k your mother," "You piece of F&%king sh&t, c&ck-s&cking, mother f&cker," "you cheap New York F&gg%t."
Who talks to potential customers that way? I'm an easy kinda guy, if he made any compromise, he most likely would have gotten the sale, but he lost his effen mind. It was hilarious at first, but eventually, I realized I was dealing with a foul-mouthed 5-year-old child. This guy wigged out like that little retard on youtube that tried to shove the remote up his bum (if you haven't seen it, look it up). BHM Golf is run by a mindless lunatic that should be locked up in a rubber room. I hope it's a one-man operation, because I'd hate to think about him with employees. This troubled salesman has no business in the public retail economy.
His low prices are subsidized by overcharged shipping. I know this because I sell stuff too, and ship things out all day every day. I wanted a deal, and paying $22.75, for a hat I can get locally for $16.99 didn't seem like a good deal to me.
I don't care what anyone out here thinks of me, but I sincerely hope I can warn a few people before they get sucked into the world of crazy that is BHM Golf.
Stay on the green and don't forget to tip your caddy

Full marks, BHM. There are some prime "customers" for you floating around here these days. Happy hunting.

1. We have no idea if "BHM" has anything to do with BHM golf, or is simply someone hiding behind a screen name.
2. If "BHM" actually works at BHM, then his account of matters is in direct contradiction to the reports of literally dozens of people who have complained about this unethical outfit on GR and many other golf boards. The preponderance of evidence points to BHM being a rude, deceptive, dishonest outfit which promises low prices, has very long delays before shipping, and the item shipped is frequently not the item ordered. Victim after victim reports the same story: they called customer service and were met with profanity and shouting over the phone. One man's word vs. countless other credible reports......hmmmmm....who should I believe?

A Fair Shake!!! - He threatened my life Yesterday! He woke me up, yelled at, harassed, and threatened me on a Sunday morning January of 2010. This retard needs to be taken out and horsewhipped with a horsewhip. I'm not willing to go to his windy hellhole to pick a fight, but I sure can spend a few minutes posting my opinion. I'll move on in a week or so, but right now it's fresh, and I have the free time.

Is there another way to horsewhip someone, other than the obvious choice of a genuine horseship that we all tend to use whenever we horseship someone?

OneMans, I'm sure your experience seemed real to you, but there are two sides to every story. Is it possible Brian felt as though you were attacking him and he was merely defending himself? Until we can see something from the other person's perspective we really can't judge them.
My experiences have shown me there's something good in everyone, it's up to us to find it.

BHM Golf, Villa Park Illinois
Sorry but NO, there's no other side. I have been laughing my keister off, telling everyone I know how ridiculous this guy is. BHM Golf (probably Brian H. Meyer) responded as a raging child with Tourette syndrome. He sounded like a normal human being until I said "No, thank you"
Me: is there a cheaper shipping option?"
BHM Golf: No, shipping prices went up.
Me: "I'm sorry, but I'm not willing to pay that much for shipping. Thanks anyway, have a nice day (Sunday morning I was exactly that polite and professional)."
BHM Golf: "F&%k you, F&%k your mother, You piece of F&%king sh&t, c&ck-s&cking, mother f&cker, cheap New York F&gg%t...(he found more combination's of these for a while)."
I am a professional, and I interact with others as such. I was amused by his tie-raid, and laughed at first in disbelief, but when he called back 5 times to continue berating and threatening me, I felt the urge to let people know what kind of person this is. I wish to God I had the sense to look him up ahead of time, because this would simply never have happened. But since it did, and since no money was exchanged, this is my only legal recourse. I don't hate him, I just think he shouldn't interact with other people, or breed for-that-matter, and I hope to save a few others from an unsavory experience with a mindless chump.
I am the better person here, and I am telling the 100% truth. BTW - I can ship a hat for under $5 from my home to his cute little store any day of the week.

OMO, I think the universe has given you a tremendous opportunity here. If Brian called you back 5 times, then he's obviously in a lot of pain. This is a person who's probably been kicked and treated like a dog his whole life. This is your opportunity to make a difference. He's reaching out to you, even though it may not sound like it. What if you were to help him?
This is your chance to choose what kind of guy you want to be.

I absolutely agree. I think close emotional support is what he needs to get him through this difficult period in his life.....the time between adolescence and death.....
My recommendation is that we all pitch in and help him by posting our home phone numbers on this board. After they have been collected and organized, they can be forwarded to Brian. He can then take turns calling and berating each of us, but since we will have a large pool of recipients of the calls, each one of would only have to take on of his calls on a rotating basis.....probably no more often than once or twice a week. He would obtain the benefit of cathartic venting, and we could perhaps enhance our flame war vocabularies. I see no downside in this.
I'll go first:
My phone number is 900-CALLHOR

What does BHM stand for? This thread is difficult to follow but I've realized a couple of things:
1. Don't ask BHM golf about shipping.
2. If you do buy from BHM golf, be very patient.
3. Nothing else, I just wanted 3 numbers.
-
I'm guessing BHM Golf is named after the owner Brian H. Meyer. It seemed like too much of a coincidence.
I'm also pretty sure that Mr. Meyer is the retard that forced me to start posting in forums.
I worked in a pawn shop for three years, and somehow not one person from that colorful period of my past comes close to the absurdity that is BHM Golf.
He's too careless with his information and records to be a real con-man. After a little digging, I'm convinced he's just dirt-bag with little to no scruples. (He's the load his momma shoulda swallowed).
