I am seriously considering putting two drivers in the bag. I just got a Cleveland Launcher 460 which showed sme potential today, but I still like the Powerbilt. It may sound over the top, but there are some days when for whatever reason you just don't have the feel for the driver and wish you had one of your other drivers in the bag just to try something different. I would use the gao wedge maybe once every two rounds so concievably I could drop that to make room, and I think two drivers might be more beneficial than the gap wedge.

NAH, I know you don't like Titleist but have you tried the 905R? You mentioned before that the Cleveland 460 felt too light. With the 905R you can feel the weight of the head throughout your swing. Another one to try is the Callaway Hyper X Tour driver. It delivers a penetrating ball flight so you'd want to get atleast a 10 degree. I think they're selling new ones for $100.

They are selling them brand new in the shops for $199 at the moment. Funnily enough, when I got the Powerbilt two years ago the only club that gave me better numbers than my driver ws the Hyper X. But it wasn't as consistently good numbers as the Powerbilt, and was about $150 more so I went with the Powerbilt. I remember the feel on the Hper X was really nice too. As for the 905R, I've been after one of them for some time. I've had a couple of goes on ebay but they always attract plenty of bidders and end up going too high. I remember seeing ne second hand in a shop once for a reasonable price but when I went back a couple of weeks later to buy it it was gone. Even though I've never hit one, from all the hype I'd say the 905R is probably still the best driver out there. But I don't ever want to hit one unless it's for sale in case I like it so much I won't be happy til I get one.

I've got two drivers in the bag: a 905R 9.5 with YS-6+ stiff butt tipped to 44.5" and a 905T 10.5 with YS-6+ in regular butt tipped to 44". The T is the one I use on early holes if I have not had the opportunity to hit warm-up balls and the one when the fairways are tight or I need to try to turn it over. The R is for when I can afford to take a bigger rip without consequences. Both are bore-throughs and I could probably get more speed and distance with a non-bore-through but the Tits' dispersions are much tighter for me. They're really cheap used for what you get. Plus they don't have all the gee-gaw graphics that remind me of '58 Oldsmobiles and Tele-Tubby rides like those Nikes.

GolfGalaxy has the Hyper X for $99 (not sure about the internet but in the store).
NAH I have played the 4dx tour the TEE and the 905r. They are all great drivers but as you have said many times it is the shaft you have in them that gives them that something special that you are looking for. If you want performance that is above average you have to either be a very patient ebay watcher or spend a litle money. I bought my 905r head from the States (in pristine condition) then had it shafted with an Aldila Voodoo which my clubbuiler did for me at a great price. I still got no change from $330. It is a fantastic stick. It comes down to the old adage....you get what you pay for.
BTW if you start bagging an 11.5 short shafted club in addition to your'e driver you will have joined the ranks of the Thriver players. As if your manhood hasn't suffered enough with your'e shovel escapades.

NAH this is a blatant and obvious sellout. You've always looked to Tiger as the GR standard bearer, i.e. forged blades, no hybrids etc.
Mickelson wins one lousy tourney and you become a MOOBS clone. I'm disappointed.
I was listening to an interview with a Callaway rep the other day and he was talking about Mickelson. He said that at the time Mickelson was so dialed with his irons that he didn't want to chance messing with his swing when he was trying to draw or fade a driver. This was leading up to the Masters. He actually won twice with two drivers in the bag.

Speaking of which, does Mickelson play the Callaway tour authentic irons or the prototype? I've been wanting to try the tour authentic. If nothing else they look pretty cool.

The Oz dollar is almost at aprity with the greenback (93 cents last time I saw and going up) so your ebay is becoming a legitimate option for us Aussies these days. I'm sure there will be a flow on as alot of our ebay sellers source the US, but it might be a good time to start going straight to the source as our ebay is more than double the price generally of yours.

I knew all this "Moobs" love would rub off on somebody in a negative way. I've always liked you, NAH, but I'm afraid that the next thing you are going to be posting is that you are a considering carrying 4 separate wedges as well . . . . . .
