    Taylormade R9 driver question..

    Does anyone know if you can change the shafts in the r9?
    Driver: TM R9
    3 wood: Cobra S9i
    3 hybrid: Cobra Baffler DWS
    4-uw: Ping i10 steel stiff.
    52* wedge: Vokey SM
    56* wedge: Vokey SM
    Putter: Scotty Cameron Studio Select Newport 2

    You can have shafts changed on any club made.

    Isnt the R9 the one that you can change the settings on? Draw? Fade? etc....

    How would that work? If the shaft and head are somehow 'linked' and you can adjust it with a wrench or something (i assume)...

    I think it is probably on of those "transformers" like Nike and Nikent make. Too many moving parts for me. Too many places to break. Too much temptation to change settings based on shot shapes needed. Whatever happened to learning shot-making with drivers as well as irons?

    There are websites that have the tips you can buy too so you can have both shafts and swap them out as you like depending on which you are hitting well. victorycustomgolf.com is one site that sells the actual TaylorMade tips.

    I think if I ad an interchangeable driver I would forever be changing the settings. I agree wiht you that your best bet is to get a driver that fits your swing, then learn to work the ball using your talent, not different configurations.

    Idk... I haven't changed it ever 1* open nuetral weighting... And go

    I've never hit it in any other position...

    Yeah, some of the TM's have a little wrench you can adjust the angle a couple º either direction. Ghey. Almost as dumb as the I mix theory.
