    Clones on ebay

I have been looking for a new set of fairwaywoods(3,5 and maybe 7) and like many of you have looked towards ebay. I was wondering if some of the clones on ebay are just as good or maybe no noticable difference. http://cgi.ebay.com/P5G-06-Fairway-W...QQcmdZViewItem This is just one of the many examples Please tell me if anyone has bought or played with things similar to these i know wal mart clubs suck but was just wondering about these thanks in advance.

    Clones or clubs

I've been playing with Acer XP clubs for 3 years now and all I can say is i'm very happy with these clubs. They look a bit like Callaway X16's but with enough difference that its not really a clone. The clubs play very well, and even the low handicappers are impressed by the distance and straightness of these irons. I also have fairwaywoods 3/5 and driver from Acer (although the stainless steel versions, not Ti) equipped with stiff iron shafts. These I don't like, probably to heavy for me.

I've bouht these from PineMeadow golf and i'm perfectly happy with them. It's the cost of importing/shipping/taxes and VAT to the Netherlands thats withholding me to buy other models/versions from them, but when I would live in the USA I would have had a whole bunch. I think there is no real big difference in these clubs compared to Callaway and others, besides the names and the dough. For these prices, You can always try....

I woulden't buy those..but thats just me. why dont you just go to a golf shop and look around for barrels of old clubs. Most places have them. and for $89, you'll probable get something better there than that pg thing.
