Ah, yes. Just another example of what makes this message board such an EXCELLENT resource for golfreview.com...

The total lack of board control, especially when it comes to having an actual ADULT - meaning someone who is 18 or older and has actually graduated from high school - is never more apparant than when we see these constant displays of trolling.

Sure, the poster masquerading as jizzizle, or whatever, is probably a current member with an axe to grind. He's probably even a former board monitor. What else do you expect when you 'assign' the task to whatever 14-15 yr old puts up the most posts, thus displaying the most obsessiveness for attention?... err... who is the 'most likely candidate to monitor the board in a responsible manner...', to put it in PC-speak... LOL!!!!!

No wonder this board sucks so bad... and no wonder so many adult members who actually contributed to meaningful discussions about the game of golf are long gone...

Why not blast them back? Obviously, the board monitors - do we even HAVE board monitors? - have left the thread open for nearly a full day with no recourse, so, evidently anything is fair game.

Virtually every serious poster has long gone, and all that is left are the cynical, the kids, and those who possess the mentality of children. Oh yeah, it's also ESPECIALLY nice to have former (supposed) board monitors come back on here and flame other posters. That's really a way to present a professional & competent appearance to a (less than interested anymore) customer base...

A lot of them most recently went over to ShotTalk. Frankly, it's a nice forum but it usually doesn't have topics that interest me very much, for some reason.

Quite a while ago, Doublegolf was formed from a lot of Golfreviewers who were tired of the nonsense here. However, that board has shrunk to a relatively few posters, and seems to me to be an inner circle of close friends. Also, doesn't interest me a whole lot.

If you want to talk golf, FreeGolfInfo (FGI) is an active board, as is GolfOpinions. People actually discuss golf intelligently, and without flaming. Amazing, I know......

For the more ego driven, BombsquadGolf is out there. People also tend to hit their drives 360 yards on that board, but with special "Tour" equipment sold by the proprietor. Any comments considered remotely threatening to the financial well being of the system or any flaming are cause for immediate banning.

TourspecGolf emphasizes Japanese gear. The board is relatively quiet from a post count, but the information can be very valuable.

Golfwrx is a relatively new board with a lot of good information.

GolfRewind is another good board.

I'd say that Doublegolf and ShotTalk are where most of the GR escapees hang out, but neither have really grabbed my attention, personally.

Until you're actually a frequent poster on the forum and are able to see what goes on here on a day to day basis, who are you to throw out accusations like that? How is what you're doing right now any different from what you're protesting?
