I know over in the states you can go to the USGA website and look at a list of approved/illegal clubs. I can only assume R&A has the same kinda deal. Then again, since the two seem to go hand and hand on most issues, you could just look at the USGA site and hope for the best.

I know anything made by wilson is a crime against fashion, but not sure whether R&A has agreed with me yet and banned all things Wilson.

Back in the day, Wilson Staff Tour Blade was THE golf club. If your daddy couldn't afford to buy you some, you were a loser.

A set of 1978 Tour Blades was my high school graduation present.

God I wish I still had them. I think that forging would almost (flinching from Omen) hold up to a Grain Flow Forged Mizzy 32 or a 695MB Titleist.

I'm sure the manufacturing was old school and the quality control was bad and so forth.. but it's nostalgically nice to see Wilson back at the forge making players irons again.

I might have to go demo some, just to remind myself I was young once... :-)

    Still stupid, just old now.

I will clarify my earlier statement to refer to all things Wilson that have 'deep red', 'fat shaft' and 'ultra' some where in the name.

I agree that some of their old stuff was good.

After he bucked off Omen and his clubs after the 13th green, Omen hit him in the jaw with his 2 iron........
If you were going to ride anyway, wouldn't renting a cart have been easier?..........
    Seldom right, never in doubt......
