    Darren: Nah I’m serious man

Well that is now reality, and this is the biggest thing in golf since we moved on from rubber golf balls. A golf ball, which you can viably play with at night or finish those couple of holes without losing your golf ball. The funny thing is it’s actually easier to find your ball in the dark – how’s that for irony.

Ok so I run a business and we’ve been trading for seven years and I’ve just got this product in. I’ve personally tested it for the first time with a friend on Croydon Private Golf Course at 1am, and I’ll admit the waiting time was phenomenal, I didn’t have to wait to tee off once! But then again if the chairman had come out of the clubhouse after sitting their drinking down pots till 1am I may have lost my membership, but it was definitely worth the risk. If he reads this I probably will.

This is a new product and hasn't taken off yet so I’m going to offer something crazy to you guys. I’m offering that the first 50 people who respond to this post either through email or phone, will recieve a FREE twilight tracer golf ball. So shoot me an email at flyford@flyford.com and I’ll send through a free twilight tracer golf ball (we’ll pay the shipping wherever you are in the world) to either your address or if you’d rather your club address we’ll send it there attention to you.

My corny pathetic advertising spiel didn’t charm you? Well have look at what some other people had to say about it

or the American commercial YouTube - Twilight Tracer - Night golf is now a reality!

Sorry if I breached forum regulations but technically I'm not selling anything if I'm giving away 50 balls worth a 1000 dollars free. I also didn't want to exclude your members from this offer, which I won't be able to afford again. If you’re thinking why is he doing this? It’s my job to get the word around about this product, so take advantage of it.

It was very thoughtful of you to think "outside the box" about the rules of spamming the board. I'm sure you will sell thousands of these glow in the dark balls from this one spam post alone, and think of the service you are providing for mankind. I think a bronze statue in your honor will soon be commissioned, paid for by the eager contributions of the hordes who will be eternally grateful to you for providing them with this invaluable product.......
    Seldom right, never in doubt......

So however you look at it, there's no risks involved so either take it or leave it.

I played those twilight tracers one round and one round only. They are the dumbest invention ever and definately not invented by a golfer. You can see the ball just fine at night and you can find the ball just fine at night but unless you're playing under giant floodlights you lose your hand eye coordination at night. This subsequently caused me to lose both of my expensive tracer balls by chunking them into a water hazard that I needed to carry on a 130 yard par three. I will never waste my money on those again.

We do a 9 hole tournament every year with these things. A junior get paired with an adult. My elbows are still a little sore from hitting these rocks last summer.

While I think the product sucks, I commend you for your sense of charity, with no expectation at all that your giveaways will create future demand off of which you'll make money. You know, alot of the spammers that come on this site seem like manipulative, deceptive whores that think we're all idiots here. It's nice to know that at least one truly has others' interests at heart.

    BTW,

Great sales pitch Bill. I can see you put alot of time and research into it to get that cheesy cliched National Enquirer type feel to it. A true master of spam if ever there was one. Don't sit by the computer waiting for your inbox to fill with requests from those first fifty GR members though. It may be a long wait.

Having one in the bag might come in handy?

I'm not advocating playing a whole round in the dark but during those long summer evenings when the sun is disappearing and instead of just playing those nine holes you initially intended to play you push your luck and try and sneak in an extra couple of holes and end up hitting in the semi darkness.

A glow in the dark ball would come in handy on those occasions.

When is Titleist bringing out a twilight tracer version of the Pro V1?
I chose the road less traveled.

Now where the f#ck am I?
