STEEL SHAFT IN 983k OR 540XD

Does Anyone Have Experience With A Steel Shaft (i'm Thinking Of Dynamic Gold S300) In A 983k Or 540xd? I Prefer A 43.5 Inch Driver, And Steel Seems To Be The Only Option For This Length. I Still Play A Calloway Steelhead Plus With Steel Shaft With Great Success And Have Struggled With The New Oversized Drivers. I Think It May Be The 45 Inch Shaft Length In These Drivers That Leads To My Inconsistancies. I Would Like To Take Advantage Of The Larger Heads With A Shorter Steel Shaft.

    Thanks
    James

Christ James, What Is Up With Capatilizing Every First Letter? Makes My Fookin' Head Hurt In A Jesse James Style.

3 Or 4 Pros Benefit From Steel In Their Drivers. So You Think You Might Too?

I Went With Steel In A Driver For Control. Lasted About A Week. I Found I Aready Had A 3 Wood.

Go to 2nd Swing or something and dig one of the Tiger Woods X100 shafted 975D's out of the used bin. Strangely, there are plenty of them there. Give it a go and get back to us.

I hit a 983E with an S300 shaft at a shoppe a few weeks or months ago. If you like 200 yard snap hooks that only go 5 feet off the ground then that's your stick.
